BongaCams Private can have Spy spectators; Full-Private excludes other members from watching. The FAQ lists default rates of 60 and 90 tokens per minute, respectively, but performers can set different prices. Compare the two offers in the room you intend to use before choosing a format.
We checked BongaCams' public documentation on September 22, 2026. We did not enter a paid session or test billing. The calculations below illustrate a budget, not an observed charge.
Private vs Full-Private: What Changes?
The main difference is audience access. The official FAQ and the definitions in BongaCams' terms distinguish the formats as follows:
| Detail | Private | Full-Private |
|---|---|---|
| Other members watching | Spy spectators may watch | Other members are excluded |
| Direct interaction | Reserved for the private participants; Spy viewers cannot join the conversation | No Spy audience |
| Published default rate | 60 tokens/minute | 90 tokens/minute |
| Price to use for your budget | The performer's displayed Private rate | The performer's displayed Full-Private rate |
The FAQ says Spy viewers can also read conversations. Private therefore does not mean that only you and the performer can see the interaction.

How Much Does Each Format Cost?
The published defaults are reference points, not a guaranteed room quote. Record both rates for the same performer and apply the duration you are considering:
Session tokens = displayed tokens per minute × planned minutes.
These examples use the FAQ's defaults and cover timed access only:
| Planned duration | Private at 60 tokens/min | Full-Private at 90 tokens/min |
|---|---|---|
| 5 minutes | 300 tokens | 450 tokens |
| 10 minutes | 600 tokens | 900 tokens |
| 15 minutes | 900 tokens | 1,350 tokens |
At these particular rates, Full-Private requires 50% more tokens for the same duration. Over ten minutes, the difference is 300 tokens. That is a calculation from the defaults, not a platform-wide surcharge: the two prices shown by a performer may produce a different result.
For any pair of offers, calculate the extra budget as (Full-Private rate − Private rate) × minutes. If the offers are equal, the rate difference is zero; if the Full-Private quote is lower, the result is negative. Compare the actual numbers rather than assuming the format name determines the price.
The terms, section 5.3, describe tokens being used per second after the performer accepts. We have not verified the practical rounding rules or a minimum session commitment. Check those details in the offer, and add any optional tips or other purchases separately.
Convert Tokens into a Cash Budget
Use your final checkout offer to calculate the effective unit cost:
Cost per token = final pack charge ÷ usable tokens received.
Multiply that result by your estimated session tokens. Use one currency throughout and include any taxes or fees shown in the final charge. BongaCams' pricing terms, section 5.8, say the account's creation location affects package prices; a public price list may not describe your checkout.
Here is a fictional pack example, not a BongaCams offer: 1,000 tokens for $80 would make each token worth $0.08. Ten minutes at the default rates would then consume $48 of token value in Private or $72 in Full-Private.
In both cases, the upfront payment would still be $80. The unused balance is not cash returned to you. This distinction matters when a larger pack looks cheaper per token but exceeds the amount you intended to spend. If your balance combines several purchases, one new pack's price will not necessarily represent the cost of all your existing tokens.
Does Full-Private Mean No Recording?
Audience exclusion is not a no-recording promise. Section 5.3.1 of the terms explicitly discusses Full-private recordings and links continued access to the performer's profile remaining active. We did not verify current recording controls inside an account.
The privacy policy also describes processing account information, activity and transaction records. Choosing Full-Private does not make a session anonymous. Decide what identifying details you are comfortable sharing independently of which audience setting you select.
Keep Automatic Top-Ups Separate from Your Session Budget
The Auto Top-up terms, section 5.7, describe an optional setting that purchases another token package when the balance reaches a threshold. It can continue until disabled. A low balance is therefore not a reliable spending limit when replenishment is enabled.
If you want to stay within a deliberately purchased balance, check that setting before starting. Set a duration limit as well, and locate the session's stop control; the FAQ describes a “Stop show” button. Ending a session and disabling future automatic purchases are separate checks.
Which Format Should You Choose?
Choose around your audience preference first, then compare the cost of the actual offers. If spectator access would change what you are comfortable sharing, do not treat the cheaper headline rate as the only deciding factor.
Before accepting a session:
- Confirm the format and who can watch it.
- Read the quoted rate and any minimum-charge or rounding information.
- Work out the tokens needed for your planned duration and the full cash payment needed to obtain them.
- Check automatic top-ups and how to stop the session.
