What is Dream Companion?
Dream Companion, at mydreamcompanion.com, focuses on fictional AI characters and roleplay. You can browse a character catalogue or create a companion with your own appearance and personality choices. The service also advertises generated images, video and voice functions alongside conversation.
The catalogue is organised around character styles and scenario tags, which can make it easier to start with a type of story rather than a blank prompt. The paid offer deserves a separate look: Premium and Ultimate are distinct options, and the annual Ultimate screen is not a price quote for every plan.
We checked the public catalogue, subscription screen, terms and CrakRevenue's product description on 20 September 2026. This is a researched assessment of the advertised features, not a claim of paid testing or measured memory performance.
Key Takeaways: Dream Companion at a Glance
- Fictional characters: browse existing personas or use appearance and personality controls to create one.
- Observed offer: the public Ultimate screen displayed US$299.88 billed annually.
- Ultimate allowance: that screen listed 800 Dream Coins per month alongside unlimited messages.
- Memory and voice: extended memory and voice calls are advertised benefits, not independently tested results.
Features and points to check
Starting from a catalogue or an original character
The public catalogue exposes search, style choices and scenario tags, while the creation route lets you define a fictional companion. That gives two sensible starting points: select a ready-made persona to explore the format, or build one around a story you want to continue. Catalogue counters and provider testimonials are not our ratings, and we do not use them as evidence of quality.
Conversation continuity and advertised memory
The provider promotes persistent memory, and the Ultimate subscription screen specifically lists extended chat memory and advanced AI models. Those are relevant features for continuing roleplay, but no verified memory length or retention benchmark was available in our review. When evaluating a preview, try ordinary continuity questions about a fictional setting rather than assuming that an advertised memory feature will preserve every detail.
Images, video and voice in the paid offer
The Ultimate screen lists image and video generation, audio messages, voice calls and a priority generation queue. These give the product a broader creative scope than text alone. The included Dream Coins should still be treated as a media budget: the public sources checked did not establish a complete current per-action tariff. Unlimited messages is not the same promise as unlimited calls or video.
Premium, Ultimate and a documented source discrepancy
The current Ultimate screen lists 800 monthly coins and a temporary extra 800-coin first-month promotion. An older terms page describes paid subscribers receiving 100 coins, without the same tier distinction. We use the current screen only for the observed Ultimate offer and do not extend it to Premium. Confirm the selected tier and checkout allowance, especially if you arrive through a different promotion.
Cancellation and a sensible first purchase
The published cancellation instructions point to profile Settings, then Unsubscribe and confirmation. The terms distinguish stopping future renewal from a refund of the current billing period. If you are unsure about the service, compare the shorter billing option shown to you before selecting a year. Keep the payment confirmation and use the provider's support route if the cancellation control differs from the documentation.

Dream Companion pricing: what to check
Ultimate — annual offer observed
US$299.88/year
One annual payment; US$24.99/month equivalent by calculation. The screen lists 800 monthly Dream Coins.
Premium / monthly options
Confirm selected plan
Different options appear on the subscription screen. Their complete current charges were not verified.
Public price snapshot: 20 September 2026. The verified amount belongs to the displayed Ultimate annual option, not an entry-level or universal price. US$299.88 ÷ 12 equals US$24.99 per month, but billing is annual. We do not turn the site's rounded daily figures into an invented monthly charge. A first-month coin bonus was advertised as temporary; do not assume it recurs. Check final currency, taxes, renewal amount, selected tier and action costs before paying. Older terms describe a different allowance, so the current checkout is particularly important.
Before choosing a billing term, compare Dream Companion's free access and paid plans.
How Dream Companion Compares to Alternatives
Candy AI documents a limited free preview and standard Premium with 100 monthly tokens. Dream Companion's observed Ultimate offer has a larger credit number and advertises extended memory, but those figures do not prove better value: the services use different credit systems and action costs.
OurDream publishes a more detailed per-action Dreamcoin table, which is useful for a tightly planned media budget. Dream Companion may be more interesting if its character catalogue and advertised roleplay controls match the experience you want. Neither comparison establishes which model produces better conversations without equivalent paid testing.

Our assessment of Dream Companion
Dream Companion is a promising shortlist option for adults interested in building a fictional persona and continuing its story across conversation and media. Its catalogue gives you a concrete place to start, and Ultimate advertises a broad feature set. The buying decision should come down to the selected tier and full payment amount. Explore the available preview, check the current allowance and avoid treating a yearly offer or a memory claim as proof of value by itself.
