Open secrets.ai in your phone’s browser to use Secrets.ai. For a home-screen icon and mobile push notifications, follow its browser-app installation instructions: Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android. The provider says its app is not distributed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
This guide combines current official documentation checked on October 2, 2026. We have not installed the app on a physical phone, tested notification delivery or used a paid account. Our Secrets.ai review covers the broader product assessment.
Secrets.ai mobile access: browser app or store download?
The official installation guide describes an app installed directly from the website. It remains the same Secrets service and account, with a dedicated launch icon and documented full-screen and notification support. You do not need to find an APK or a similarly named store app.

Type the domain directly and open it in the full browser before looking for these menus. Controls inside another app’s embedded browser can differ. Installation is useful for repeat access; you can start by opening the website normally.
Install Secrets.ai on iPhone or Android
iPhone: add Secrets.ai through Safari
Use the provider’s Safari route, with Apple’s current web-app instructions for menu variations:
- Open Safari and load secrets.ai.
- Open the page menu and choose Share, or use the visible Share button if your toolbar shows it directly.
- Select Add to Home Screen. If it is missing from the share sheet, use Edit Actions to add it.
- Turn on Open as Web App if that option is shown, then tap Add.
- Open the new icon and sign in if asked.
The result is website access from your Home Screen, not a separate App Store download. Browser layout and system version can change the button positions.
Android: install through Chrome
Secrets calls the menu item Install app or Add to Home screen. Google’s current installation help uses an additional submenu:
- Open secrets.ai in Chrome.
- Tap the browser’s three-dot More menu.
- Choose Install and create shortcut, then Install, or the install option shown in your version.
- Follow Chrome’s confirmation prompts, then open the installed icon.
If you choose Create shortcut instead, Google’s shortcut guide says icons carrying the Chrome logo open in Chrome. A shortcut and an installed web app are different outcomes; do not assume that every icon provides the same notification behavior.
Sign in and start a Secrets.ai conversation
Use your existing Secrets account when prompted. Installing the browser app is not a reason to create another account or buy a second subscription. The provider describes the installed version as sharing the website’s account, chats and features; we have not verified whether a browser-tab login carries into every home-screen session.
Start with a character and ordinary text chat. The Quickstart identifies the conversation-header mode selector, a Generate tab for media, and a Moments balance in the top navigation. Available modes and actions depend on your account, so check the requirement displayed before proceeding.

Enable and manage Secrets.ai notifications
Secrets documents this mobile opt-in sequence in its notification instructions:
- Open the installed app.
- When Never miss a message appears, choose Enable notifications if you want alerts.
- Approve the device or browser permission request.
On iPhone, the stated requirements are iOS 16.4 or later and opening Secrets from the Home Screen icon, rather than a Safari tab. This is the notification requirement, not a claim that every older phone cannot open the website.
The provider documents notification status under User Settings. You can also mute or disable alerts in the browser or device settings. Consider where previews may appear on a shared phone before opting in; notification support is not a guarantee of private or reliable delivery.
Fix Secrets.ai installation and notification problems
The install option is missing
Check that you opened the site in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android. Secrets says an already installed app may no longer show the install option. On iPhone, also check the share sheet’s Edit Actions option. If installation remains unavailable, use the normal browser tab while checking the official help; a missing button does not establish an account problem.
Notifications do not arrive
On iPhone, first check the system version and reopen Secrets from its Home Screen icon. Then inspect permissions in the device/browser and the push status in Secrets’ User Settings. These are documented checks, not fixes we have validated on each device. We have not established offline chat support or guaranteed background delivery.
A chat loads slowly or a feature is locked
For loading trouble, check your connection and try reloading the page. The chat guide distinguishes Delivered from a completed reply: it means the message reached Secrets, and a higher thinking level may take longer. A plan or Moments notice calls for checking account access or balance, not reinstalling repeatedly.
If the issue persists, use the official support contact, support@secrets.ai, with your phone system, browser version and the exact error. Do not send passwords or login codes. No account or payment action is needed merely to report a loading problem.
Remove the app without confusing it with cancellation
Secrets’ removal instructions use a long press on the iPhone icon followed by Delete Bookmark. On Android, Google documents removal through Settings > Apps, selecting the installed web app and choosing Uninstall. A plain shortcut may instead offer an icon-removal command.
Removing an icon does not cancel a subscription. For that, the Secrets cancellation guide directs you to Settings > Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription and confirmation. Check the confirmation rather than treating disappearance from your phone as a billing change. This cancellation flow was documented, not tested by us.
