Secrets.ai Premium costs US$19.99 per month; Ultimate costs US$39.99 per month. Both include unlimited messaging, but Ultimate raises the monthly Moments allowance from 8,000 to 15,000 and adds controls such as personas, group chats and Lorebooks. Premium is the cheaper starting point if those extra controls are not part of your intended use.

Secrets.ai Premium and Ultimate subscription prices

The official store and subscription guide agree on the monthly and annual prices below. Select both the tier and the billing term before comparing the charge.

Monthly and annual charges

Annual equivalents are not monthly instalments. The annual tier difference is US$210 paid upfront, equivalent to US$17.50 per month; the month-to-month difference is US$20. Annual billing still provides monthly Moments, not twelve months of credits on day one.

Confirm taxes, currency, any promotion conditions and the renewal amount at checkout. We did not verify an authenticated final total, promotion expiry or future renewal price. The terms allow multi-month subscriptions, but our observed selector offered monthly and yearly billing; we do not attach unverified quarterly prices to this table.

What the annual discount really changes

At the observed monthly rates, twelve Premium payments total US$239.88, compared with US$109.99 annually: a US$129.89 difference. Twelve Ultimate payments total US$479.88, compared with US$319.99 annually: a US$159.89 difference. These calculations assume twelve months at the checked monthly price, excluding tax and extra purchases.

The store's crossed-out prices and discount badges use promotional reference amounts. They are not evidence of the charge at your next renewal. Annual billing lowers the equivalent monthly cost if you use the full year, while monthly billing limits the amount committed upfront.

Which features does Ultimate add to Premium?

Both paid tiers include messaging and access to image, video and voice features, with media charged separately in Moments. The differences below are documented plan entitlements, not measured quality improvements.

Chat modes and message length

S5 is already available on Premium. The chat-mode guide reserves S4 and Max thinking for Ultimate. X-3 is experimental and has no adjustable thinking level. Higher thinking settings can take longer to answer; paying for Max does not prove that replies will always be better or remember every detail.

Memory, Lorebooks and group conversations

The memory guide advertises four times the memory access and 60% more context for Premium, versus six times and 100% more for Ultimate, relative to Free. These are provider capacity claims, not a claim that Ultimate recalls facts six times more accurately. We have not benchmarked memory.

Ultimate also lists personas, editing a custom character's personality and proactive messaging. Its group chats support two or three AI companions in one conversation. These controls can matter more than a larger credit balance if your goal is a continuing story with several characters.

The current Lorebooks guide says this feature is available to Ultimate subscribers. Lorebooks organize editable story information and memories; Premium uses the existing memory system. Choose this feature for the control it offers, without treating organized notes as a guarantee of consistent recall.

Secrets.ai Moments: allowance and extra spending

Moments are credits used for metered features. Ultimate adds 7,000 Moments per month, or 87.5% more than Premium. That increase does not make media unlimited, and unused ordinary grant credits do not accumulate month after month.

For a hypothetical month of 100 base images at the documented 50 Moments per image, the cost is 100 × 50 = 5,000 Moments. Premium would have 3,000 left; Ultimate would have 10,000 left, before any other activity. This is arithmetic, not a generation test. Other image settings, video, voice and retries change the budget; check the displayed action cost.

Both paid tiers can purchase top-ups. Premium receives a 10% purchase bonus, Ultimate 15%; those percentages do not increase the ordinary monthly grants. Purchased top-up Moments do not expire, while unused monthly grant Moments normally do not roll over. Compare the actual top-up offer with the cost of changing tiers before assuming an upgrade is cheaper. This article does not establish a current cash price for every pack.

Upgrading and cancelling a Secrets.ai subscription

Upgrading from a monthly or multi-month plan

The upgrade rules distinguish two cases. From a monthly plan, you pay the full new plan price; unused current grant Moments convert into non-expiring top-up Moments, and the new plan's grant arrives on top. Do not budget this as merely paying the US$20 difference between two monthly tiers.

From a multi-month plan, the dollar value of months that have not started is credited toward the new plan at checkout. It is not a refund of every unused day, nor a conversion of all future credits into Moments. The new plan starts immediately. Check the actual credit and charge before confirming an upgrade.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds

The terms describe automatic renewal for standard subscriptions and upfront payment for multi-month terms. The cancellation guide directs you to Settings > Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription and confirmation. Paid access continues through the current period. Prepaid alternate-method keys are a separate case and do not auto-renew.

Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund the current period. The refund policy includes billing-error and statutory exceptions, with payment-method conditions. Check your applicable terms and keep the confirmation. These are published instructions, not a cancellation or refund process we tested.

Choosing Premium or Ultimate for your use

• Mainly individual text conversations: Premium already includes unlimited messages and S5. Check whether its 1,000-character limit fits how you write.
• Group stories or more customization: Ultimate's personas, group chats, personality editing and Lorebooks are concrete reasons to consider the higher tier.
• Regular media creation: Estimate your actual Moments spending first. A larger monthly allowance helps only if you use it before reset; compare any top-up price separately.
