What Can You Try Before Paying?
Secrets.ai gives you more room for a repeated text evaluation: its general Free allowance is 20 messages per day, whereas Candy's help centre lists five messages in total across characters. Secrets ties the limit to your device, so creating another account is not a fresh allowance. Its guide separately notes a higher cap for custom characters; the general daily figure is the comparable starting point.
Candy's documented preview also includes one custom character and one image. Secrets Free has no monthly Moments grant and cannot purchase top-ups; its guide requires a paid subscription for premium features that spend Moments. Use either preview to assess the tone you want, without mistaking a few replies for proof of reliable long-term memory.

Compare the Same Billing Period
For standard Premium billed monthly, the checked USD offers are US$13.99 for Candy and US$19.99 for Secrets. Candy's subscription is US$6 less per month in that comparison, before taxes and optional purchases. That is a base-access difference, not proof that every media-heavy routine costs less.
Annual billing changes the upfront commitment: Candy shows US$47.88 for a year, while Secrets lists US$109.99. The difference is US$62.11 paid upfront. Their US$3.99 and approximately US$9.17 monthly equivalents are not month-to-month payment options. Candy also shows US$26.97 every three months, equivalent to US$8.99 per month.
Keep higher tiers separate. Secrets Ultimate is documented at US$39.99 monthly or US$319.99 annually, about US$26.67 per month with annual payment. Candy Premium Plus has different benefits, but we did not verify its price. Do not attach Candy's standard Premium price to Plus. Confirm the selected tier, full charge, currency, taxes and renewal terms before paying.

Chat Access, Memory Controls and Higher Tiers
Both providers document unlimited messaging on their paid offers. For a text-focused routine, start with whether you like the available characters and conversational style. Unlimited access tells you about a usage limit; it does not establish equal response quality, model behaviour or recall.
Candy's Premium Plus article lists personas, 20 memory slots and five chat clones, alongside 330 monthly tokens. Secrets describes controls for reviewing and updating saved memories, while Ultimate adds personas and group chats with two or three AI companions. These are different controls, not equivalent memory benchmarks.
If you mainly want individual conversation, compare the standard plans first. Consider the higher tier when a specific control changes how you use the service. We have not run the same continuing story on both platforms, so neither a slot count nor a provider's memory multiplier supports a better-memory winner here.

Compare What Credits Buy, Not Their Raw Number
Candy Premium includes 100 tokens per month; Secrets Premium includes 8,000 Moments. Those numbers use different units. They do not mean Secrets buys 80 times as much content. Candy's token guide describes images, video, voice and other paid actions, but we could not establish a complete current action tariff for a matched calculation.
Secrets publishes 50 Moments for a base Premium image and 50 per minute of audio calling. A hypothetical month with ten such images and ten call minutes uses 10 × 50 + 10 × 50 = 1,000 Moments, or 12.5% of Premium's 8,000-Moment grant. This assumes those documented rates and excludes every other action. Video settings and other image modes can change the cost.
This example measures credit consumption, not a separate US-dollar bill or a quality comparison. If your intended actions exceed the included allowance, compare the final top-up price and usable balance in your account. The whole pack is paid upfront even if you use only part of it. We did not complete either checkout or verify equivalent current top-up offers.

Check When Credits Arrive and Reset
Candy's paid-user guide says annual subscribers receive their 100 tokens month by month, not 1,200 at the start of the year. An annual discount changes the payment commitment, not the timing of that standard monthly allowance.
Secrets separates monthly grants and purchased Moments. Unused monthly grants normally do not roll over, while purchased top-ups do not expire or reset with the grant. A documented exception applies when upgrading from a monthly plan: the unused grant converts to top-up Moments. Buying top-ups requires Premium or Ultimate. If you expect long gaps between creative sessions, check the balance rules before choosing a larger allowance.

Check Renewal Before Choosing a Long Term
Candy's observed subscription page describes automatic renewal at the displayed price and term. Its cancellation guide points to My Profile > Settings > Unsubscribe, followed by confirmation. Use the instructions for the purchase you actually made; do not assume deleting an account or stopping use cancels billing.
Secrets directs subscribers to Settings > Manage Subscription and confirmation. Its guide says cancellation stops future charges while paid access continues until the current period ends; it does not automatically refund that period. Prepaid subscription keys are a separate case and do not auto-renew. For either service, record the renewal date and cancellation confirmation. We have not tested these procedures or refund outcomes.

Consider Candy AI for a Lower Standard Chat Subscription
Its checked Premium offer costs less for the same billing term and separates unlimited text chat from media spending. Start with the limited preview, and verify Plus pricing or token costs if those extras drive your decision.

Do I need the higher tier just to keep chatting?
The providers document unlimited paid text messages on their standard Premium offers. A higher tier is a separate decision about controls and allowances; unlimited messaging does not include unlimited media.
Can I transfer Candy tokens to Secrets.ai?
They are separate services with separate accounts and credit systems. This comparison establishes no transfer or exchange route between Candy tokens and Secrets Moments. Do not buy one balance expecting it to fund the other service.
Which one has better conversations?
We have not performed equivalent paid conversation tests, so we cannot support a quality winner. Try the style and characters available to you, and distinguish your own preferences from the documented plan limits.
