For regular conversations, Candy AI separates paid text chat from its media-token balance. OurDream also documents standard subscriber chat without a per-response Dreamcoin charge, but some enhanced chat models consume coins. That makes your choice of chat model part of the budget, even with an active subscription.
If conversation is your main reason to subscribe, compare the mode you expect to use every day. A plan described as unlimited does not establish that every model or media feature has the same spending rules.

Media budgets: compare actions, not credit balances
Candy tokens and OurDream Dreamcoins are different platform currencies. A larger balance on one service does not, by itself, buy more images, voice or video. Start with the type and amount of media you want, then apply each service’s relevant action costs.
